There's artwork in the windows of some businesses and it's doing more than adding beauty - it's helping to connect people to organizations that offer invaluable resources. News 12 New Jersey's Carissa Lawson spoke with the "Windows of Understanding" artists being highlighted for Black History Month.
The "Windows of Understanding" project is now in its sixth year. Besides Highland Park and several businesses in New Brunswick, the art can also be found in business windows in South Plainfield and Metuchen from now through April 6.
