FORECAST:
Cold weather arrives today and lasts through the next several days. The worst of the cold is tonight as a shot of cold drives temperatures down to the teens.
Wind chills will make the air feel closer to 10 degrees in parts of the state Friday morning. Friday afternoon's temperatures don't rebound too well with highs only near freezing.
There will be sun with a drapery of thin clouds.
A few flurries are possible in South Jersey and parts of Central Jersey Friday afternoon as a storm passes by the mid-Atlantic. This won't bring any impact to our area other than a few festive flakes.
The weekend ahead is fair with sun and clouds. Temperatures will be in the lower 40s for afternoon highs.
There is a possible Alberta Clipper headed to the Northeast for Mon/Tue which would bring meager impacts of a coating of light snow. This detail has high uncertainty, so it will be monitored throughout the weekend.
