President Joe Biden is telling House Democrats they need to strip or reduce several items in the economic reconciliation bill in order for it to pass.
The revised plan would reportedly no longer include two years of tuition-free community college. It would also end the child tax credit after another year, and provide less money for home care, and fewer weeks of paid leave.
The revised plan would still expand Medicare to cover hearing, dental and vision.
