Two New Jersey politicians may have been contacted by the same informant who cooperated in the FBI's recent massive corruption bust.
Solomon Dwek may have tried to initiate contact with Hoboken Council President Dawn Zimmer and Bayonne Democratic Party Chairman Jason O'Donnell. Prosecutors say Dwek is the cooperating witness that helped land 44 people, including politicians and religious leaders, behind bars with charges.
Zimmer believes Dwek possibly telephoned her, but says she never called back and would have reported a bribe offer. O'Donnell says he turned down a $5,000 cash bribe from a man he thought was a developer.
