A national nonprofit is warning of a scam it calls "sextortion."
The Better Business Bureau says a scammer will send an email claiming to have images or videos of you watching pornography or doing something else embarrassing.
The email claims that the scammer has access to your webcam. The email may also have personal information stolen in major security hacks.
The scammer will then demand money. The Better Business Bureau says this is probably an empty threat and to report it to authorities.
