It's Tuesday and that means it is time to check out another spot that makes up the best of New Jersey today. Meteorologist Mike Rizzo is taking us for some sweets in Monmouth County. Back of chocolate carousel here in Wall. I'm with the owner Lisa Place is amazing. Oh my God. Thank you. Favorite studio to a bakery to custom cake. We got it all show. Let me show you. Come on around. These are our stuffed cupcakes. These are a fan favorite around here. We do 40 flavors. They're all filled and stuffed. You've got to try these. They're amazing. Come in, get a variety. These are homemade cookies. We use a lot of family recipes for our cookies. Everything is made in house using real butter. They're delicious. Our chocolate covered pretzels. You guys have to try these all dipped in chocolate and then topped in a variety of toppings. Let me show you our bakery case over here. We have a lot of little pastries. These are all fun mix and match. Go home with a box and our layer cakes. We have our daily specials and our everyday cakes which we're making all the time. These are so good. You can't go wrong. A chocolate carousel and wall. They make more than just baked goods in the front. We got custom cakes in the back. I'm here with the lead pastry chef Jen and tell me what, tell me more about the custom cakes. What do you do? How do you make them? Oh my God. So we make a ton of different custom cakes. It's actually one of my favorite things that we do here because everybody's cake is so different. We have different themes, different kinds of parties. You know, you have a baby shower, a birthday, a wedding, everything for options. Do you have like for the base for the cake itself? Oh my God. So even that's endless, which is fantastic. So we got your, you know, traditional vanilla chocolate, which I actually like doing together because it's a proud pleaser. But we also have chocolate chip Confetti red velvet carrot. Uh The possibilities are endless. My new favorite right now is actually our or cake and our charro cake, which is really fun. So, it's a little bit different. So, if you're having like a smaller crowd and that's like their favorites, I think that that's super fun. Do you ever get an experimental all the time? All the time? Everything really does uh influence what we do. So I'll go, you know, grocery shopping and I'll just see something and I'll be like that looks fun and then I make it my way and we flip it and we all come together and just do all different things. We'll see examples of these cakes is there anywhere to put them on display. So, um between our events, our Facebook, our website, um we're constantly making shout outs on our social media of different things that we do, um especially new things, which is really great, but the possibilities are really endless. OK. So endless possibilities right here at chocolate carousel and wall custom cake. They got you covered.

Meteorologist Mike Rizzo is taking us for some sweets in Monmouth County chocolate Carousel and Wall and with the owner Lisa and it's not just about the fine pastries, the amazing goods that they have here, the baked goods without the holidays, about the holidays, holidays are big for us here. And right now we're about to embark on Easter where we make all of our bunnies in house, the old fashioned way, their hand poured and turned and decorated by hand. We love our bunny here. These are some of the featured ones that we have, which are really unique. This is a strawberry short cake bunny. This one's tie dye. These are Henry's, that's the sitting bunny. He's the most popular, but all of our bunnies have names. We name them after our team and it's super fun. So those aren't just designed that way. They, they taste that way as well. They do act actually the strawberries and cream is a new bunny this year and it's fabulous and this is the wife of our cookies and cream bunny, which is a chocolate version of this. Ok. So, yes, we have a lot of fun with our bunnies, but we have all things Easter. We'll customize your Easter basket. We have Easter sugar cookies, jelly beans, of course, filled eggs, cream eggs, uh, foiled chocolates, all types of Easter candy. You gotta come in and celebrate the holidays with us and we do cool things for every holiday. That's wonderful. Yeah, it's awesome. So, we love being part of the celebration. Let's do it. And you gotta celebrate right here at Wal Chocolate Carousel. Amazing place to get your favors, celebrate the holidays and then get some baked goods too.
