The sign indicating Best Buy is coming soon to the Eatontown strip mall on Route 36 may mean an improved economy is on the horizon.
Residents around the area, whether in need of a job or not, say they are welcoming Best Buy with open arms.
Dale Weems, of Howell, says, "It's a phenomenal opportunity for people because the market out here has been very tough. So the fact that a business is opening, that's hiring, is very good."
Although doors don't open until Oct. 24, the company is accepting applications to fill between 100 and 120 full- and part-time jobs .
