As one Bergen County community has started distributing the H1N1 vaccine in nasal spray form, some parents say they are hesitant about having their children vaccinated.
A recent poll shows that many New Jersey residents are opting to pass on the vaccine.
Parents say they are leery about side effects of the drug. On Wednesday, Bergenfield has received 100 doses of FluMist, the nasal spray version of the injection vaccine. Only 10 people have taken the medicine so far, officials say
According to health officials, the nasal spray is safe for people between the ages of 2 to 49, as long as the vaccine recipient is healthy and not pregnant.
