Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has officially opened its first Jersey Shore location in Wall Township.
The café, located at 1825 Route 35, celebrated its grand opening Saturday with a traditional Hawaiian lei-cutting ceremony, live music, giveaways and free coffee for the first 200 guests in line.
Owned by New Jersey natives Jim and Tyler Bowman, the Wall location is the father-son duo’s second Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii café in the state, following the opening of their Madison location. The pair has plans to continue expanding the brand across New Jersey in the coming years.
"I chose this location because Wall is a great community. You know, Wall has really needed a more local coffee shop," said Tyler Bowman, president of Bowman Hospitality.
Guests can enjoy premium Hawaiian coffees sourced from Kona, Kauai and Maui, along with handcrafted espresso drinks, cold brews, teas and Hawaiian-inspired breakfast and lunch offerings.
The grand opening also featured family-friendly activities and a cornhole game benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, with a portion of the day’s proceeds donated to the organization.
The Wall café is open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
