Authorities seek public’s help to solve shooting in Glen Rock’s Wilde Memorial Park

A 23-year-old man from Paterson was shot during the gunfire. He is expected to be OK.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is asking the public for help solving a shooting that happened in a Glen Rock park while youth sports events were taking place.
The shooting happened Tuesday evening at Wild Memorial Park where a large crowd was gathered near the baseball field and outdoor basketball courts.
A 23-year-old man from Paterson was shot during the gunfire. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
Police say two officers were in the park at the time of the shooting. Up to 50 more officers arrived not long after.
Bergen County officials are asking anyone who might have taken any photos or videos in the park around 7:30 p.m.to upload them to the prosecutor’s website. Anyone who might have additional information is also urged to give investigators a call.
No arrests have been made.
