Fire officials: 2 people trapped inside car after hitting parked trucks at Cherry Hill rest stop

Two people were rescued Saturday after being trapped in a car wreck near the New Jersey Turnpike at the Whitman Service Area in Cherry Hill, fire officials say.
According to the Cherry Hill Fire Department, one car hit two parked trucks, causing serious intrusion into the vehicle that trapped both people inside the car in the parking lot of the rest stop.
News 12 New Jersey was told Cherry Hill fire and EMS units had to race against the clock to get both victims out and prevent a fuel leak at the same time.
Fire officials say both victims were treated for serious injuries.
