Authorities: 2 men killed, woman injured in Newark shooting

Police say they were notified of a shooting on the 100 block of Shepard Avenue on June 10 at 11:30 p.m.

Essex County authorities have opened an investigation into a shooting that injured a woman and left two men dead on Saturday night in Newark.
Police say they were notified of a shooting on the 100 block of Shepard Avenue on June 10 at 11:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers say they found 33-year-old Hillside resident Isaiah Cobb suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:45 p.m.
Police at the scene say they also found 51-year-old Terrance Carroll, of Newark, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to University Hospital and pronounced dead at 12:13 a.m. on Sunday.
The female victim who was injured is being evaluated at a hospital, according to authorities.
Authorities say an investigation is ongoing. While no arrests have been made yet, they say there appears to be no threat to the public.
