A 23-year-old man was arrested Saturday and charged with first-degree murder for stabbing another man to death on New Years Day in Atlantic City, according to Atlantic County prosecutors.

Officials say police received reports of a man with multiple stab wounds on Michigan Avenue near the boardwalk. They say Gavin Guzman, of Atlantic City, is accused of fatally stabbing Nazir Citron, 22, in the chest.

Guzman is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
