A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a South Plainfield woman after she failed to appear in court Wednesday on charges of having a severed hand and human skulls in her home.
The judge revoked 31-year-old Linda Kay?s original bail of $100,000 and slapped her with an additional $100,000 cash bail with no 10 percent option for release.
Last Friday, police received a call that someone at the Diana Drive home where Kay lives may have committed suicide. That was not the case, but while searching the home authorities found a severed hand in a Mason jar in the basement and six human skulls in an upstairs bedroom.
There is still no word on how the body parts were acquired or who they were once a part of.
