A Union Township club owner plans to press charges against an officer who was caught on tape allegedly brandishing his weapon to gain free entry.
Employees at Hott 22 say three security cameras captured the off-duty Irvington cop on a rampage Sunday. When workers denied the officer?s request to get in for free, he allegedly slammed down his badge and service revolver. Employees say the officer appeared to be intoxicated. They also say the cop fumbled with the gun and rammed the counter, throwing down the register.
The officer told News 12 New Jersey he can?t talk about the incident, and added he doesn?t remember much about it. The Irvington Police Department declined to comment.
