Nearly 50 people arrested for allegedly participating in a multi-million international gambling ring were dealt a host of charges Thursday in Monmouth County Courthouse.
The 47 suspects, who were arrested Wednesday, were handed charges that range from promoting gambling and racketeering to conspiracy and money laundering.
The group?s three alleged ring leaders are Richard Crossan, of Hillsborough, Ralph Santoro, of Bridgewater, and Joseph Pasquale, of Mantoloking. Pasquale?s wife, Carol, was also charged in connection with the ring.
Bail was set at $1 million for each of the alleged ring leaders and $100,000 each for the other 44 defendants.
