Commuters, get ready: All-electronic tolls are coming to several New Jersey bridges next week.
Starting soon, tolls will be cashless at the Delaware Water Gap, Trenton-Morrisville, I-78, and the Route 22 bridge between Phillipsburg and Easton.
Drivers without E-ZPass will be tolled by plate and mailed a bill, with rates double the cost of E-ZPass.
For example, the toll for drivers who pay by plate will be $3, compared to $1.50 for E-ZPass holders.
