The
NYPD is asking for the public's assistance in finding the individual
wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in the confines of the
108th precinct.
According
to police, the incident happened on Tuesday, June 7 at approximately
3:20 p.m. on the corner of 65th Street and Broadway in Queens.
Police
say a 28-year-old male and another unidentified individual exchanged
gunfire at each other. The 28-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound in
the right shoulder and was taken by private means to NYC Health &
Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he is listed in stable condition and placed
under arrest.
The unidentified armed individual fled the location in a vehicle heading northbound on 64th Street.
The
unidentified individual being sought is described as a male
approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with a medium build, medium
complexion, short black hair, last seen wearing a red and white short-sleeve shirt, gray shorts and black sneakers with white trim. The
suspect fled in a black Audi four-door sedan with a paper license plate.
The
28-year-old male individual who sustained a gunshot wound has been
identified as Tenzin Norgyal. He has been charged with attempted murder.
