Some scary news for Halloween and candy lovers – Hershey announced this week that it might not meet the demand for popular chocolates during the holidays.

Hershey says it can't ramp up holiday production without sacrificing regular year-round sweets. Officials blamed surging sales during the pandemic and supply chain issues made worse by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

According to CNN, Hershey is adding more manufacturing lines and is hoping that it will be able to meet demand in the next couple of years.
