Action Park tops the list of New Jersey amusement parks with the most injuries, according to the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
New data shows the park had 25 reported accidents in 2014, up from 19 in 2013. Six Flags Great Adventure reported 11 accidents in 2014.
Data shows Action Park's Tarzan Swing was the attraction with the most injuries, due to people trying to do flips and landing incorrectly.
Park manager Bill Bennyan says safety will continue to be the park's primary focus. He says lifeguards are now better trained and older rides have been taken down.
"Certainly we have filtered out the crazy rides that people think about for Action Park and kept those that...are consistently safe," he says.
Action Park's reputation for safety problems has spanned several decades. In the 1980s and 90s the park was often called "Class-Action Park" and "Traction Park" by critics. In 2012, the park reported 70 accidents.
The report comes as Action Park unveils its newest attraction, the world's longest water slide. That slide is still being tested and is awaiting approval from state inspectors.
