New Jersey officially has a state juice – and it’s of the cranberry kind.
Acting Gov. Snick Scutari signed a series of bills on Monday, including one naming cranberry juice the official state juice of the Garden State.
The bill was first thought up by students at Eleanor Rush Intermediate School in Cinnaminson.
The state Senate then voted in favor of the bill three months ago.
Cranberries are one of the major commercial crops grown in New Jersey.
