It’s becoming easier and easier to afford buying gas in the United States, according to AAA. 

AAA says that the average price for a gallon of regular gas has dropped eight cents in just the past week, despite increased demand and decreased supply.  

Another factor playing into the fall in price is that the cost of oil has remained flat. AAA predicts that both oil and gas prices could be back on the rise if the Israel-Hamas war spreads.
