In a statement, the NFL said, "Saturday's daily COVID testing returned several positive tests from each of the clubs serviced by the same laboratory in New Jersey. We are working with our testing partner, BioReference, to investigate these results, while the clubs work to confirm, or rule out the positive tests."
The Jets canceled a walk-through Sunday night, and did have a full practice after the false positive tests came back. The Philadelphia Eagles also held out a handful of players from a workout. Other teams made adjustments to practice based on the test results.
