A 72-year-old man died Sunday in a fire at a Secaucus apartment building.

Firefighters found John Meisenburg unconscious at the building on Meadow Lane. He was later pronounced dead in the hospital.

The fire started on the second floor, but heavy smoke poured into the third floor where Meisenburg was found.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office says the fire doesn't appear to be suspicious.
