Fire officials in Jersey City say seven firefighters suffered injuries while working to gain the upper hand on a fast-moving apartment building fire.
The blaze broke out at around 8 a.m. Wednesday in a building on Randolph Avenue. Video from Chopper 12 showed part of the roof had collapsed into the structure.
Authorities say 17 people were displaced as a result of the blaze. No residents were injured.
Officials believe all of the firefighters' injuries were non-life threatening. They were taken to Jersey City Medical Center.
