Six people believed to be involved in a stabbing Wednesday in Harrison have been arrested, according to police.

Authorities say some of the suspects fled into the PATH transit system following the incident. As a result, service on the Newark-Harrison line was suspended for 40 minutes.

Reports indicated that one suspect was possibly armed with a handgun.

Officers from NJ Transit and the PAPD Path Command assisted in the arrests.

Police say they captured the final suspect with the help of thermal imaging technology.

The events leading up to the incident and the identity of the victim have yet to be disclosed.
