Almost 30 Forever 21 stores across the tri-state area, including six locations in New Jersey, are in danger of closing as part of its bankruptcy proceedings this week.
The company released a list Tuesday of the nearly 180 locations it could potentially close.
Among the 30 around the tri-state area, 18 are in New York, six are in New Jersey, and four are in Connecticut.
The locations in New Jersey include stores at the Deptford Mall, Hamilton Mall, Hanover Commons, Cherry Hill Mall, Short Hills and Brunswick Square.
When Forever 21 filed for bankruptcy Sunday evening, it said it had 549 stores in the U.S. and 251 locations internationally.
