Six firefighters were inside a home that exploded last month in Pompton Lakes – and managed to escape without injury.

The incident took place on Jan. 14 at 2 a.m. Body camera video of the fiery explosion was recently released.

According to fire officials, firefighters were in the basement when the home exploded.

Firefighters and police responded to the house after a reported gas leak – however the cause of the explosion is still unknown.
