5 MVC centers closed as employees test positive for COVID-19
Five New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Centers are now closed after an employee at each center tested positive for COVID-19.
The locations closed include the Bakers Basin, Wayne, and Paterson Regional Licensing Centers, and the Trenton Regional and Newton Vehicle Centers.
The Newton will be closed until March 25. The Wayne location will be closed until March 26, and the Bakers Basin, Trenton and Paterson locations will be closed until March 27.
The MVC now offers about 75% of transactions online at the agency’s website. There are nearly 30 online services available at the website, including most renewals for licenses and registrations, according to MVC officials.
