Fire officials say a four-alarm blaze broke out inside a condominium complex in Ramsey Tuesday, completely destroying the roof of one unit and spreading to others.
Firefighters from Ramsey, Mahwah, Saddle River and Allendale were among those at the scene extinguishing the flames. Officials say the fire began at aroudn 11 a.m. inside one of the condos at the Alexandria Court complex, but spread to other units. The fire destroyed the roof and back deck of the condo. It also melted the siding.
Fire crews managed to put out the flames by mid-afternoon. Fire officials say nobody was injured in the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
