Three people were injured Wednesday when a car crashed into a restaurant in Dover.
Police say the three passengers inside a Volkswagen Jetta were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after their car hit The Quiet Man restaurant on East McFarlan Street just before 11:30 a.m.
Pub owner Frank Burke says the crash happened just 10 minutes before the pub was scheduled to open. He says it was a miracle no one inside was hurt.
"I thank God for being so fortunate. I usually do my crossword puzzle in that front room," says Burke.
The Quiet Man will have to be closed for the time being while repairs are made, but Burke says it will open again. He hopes it will only take a few months.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash. Sources tell News 12 New Jersey that marijuana was found inside the car.
