Three people face additional charges in connection with a May double homicide in Jersey City after a medical examiner determined the cause of death of one of the victims, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday.
Treshawn Daniels, 19, and Jahquan Porter, 26, both of Jersey City, and Angelica Manning, 24, of Bayonne, face new charges in the death of Kenneth Darby, 52, of Jersey City.
Police responding to reports of gunfire shortly after 1 a.m. on May 18 found Darby and Luis Quintero, 53, of Jersey City, unresponsive inside a residence on Old Bergen Road with apparent gunshot wounds.

Both men were taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
Daniels, who was previously charged with murder in Quintero’s death, now also faces a murder charge in Darby’s death.
Porter faces new charges of murder, felony murder and robbery in Darby’s death. Manning faces the same charges as an accomplice, prosecutors said.
All three defendants previously faced additional charges, including attempted murder and weapons offenses.
The new charges were filed after the regional medical examiner determined Darby died from stab or incised wounds to an upper extremity and a gunshot wound to the thigh. His death was ruled a homicide.
