A United States Postal Service van struck the corner of a home in Haledon Monday morning.
The white postal van ran over a portion of the grass in front of the house before hitting the structure.
"Earlier this morning a postal vehicle struck a house. The accident caused some damage to the house but thankfully no one was seriously injured," Haledon Mayor Michael Johnson said on social media.
Haledon police and fire crews responded to the scene along with local officials, including the borough's code enforcement officer.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. News 12 has contacted the United States Postal Service for additional information about the crash and the driver's condition and is awaiting a response.
