A Bronx mother says she was left frustrated and afraid after her 4-year-old son was allegedly punched by another child’s mother at a Bronx park.

Feliciana Luna says her son was roughhousing with another child at Joyce Kilmer Park on Aug. 31 when the other boy’s mother suddenly grabbed her son by the hair and punched him in the head.

Luna says the woman then ran off, leaving her son bleeding and crying in pain.

Luna says she reported the incident to police but claims little was done.

"I don’t know what to do. Police aren’t doing anything about it and that lady is walking around like nothing happened,” Luna said.

Luna says she sees the suspect, whom police released a surveillance image of, almost every day since the alleged incident first happened, just walking down the street and mocking her.

On Saturday, Luna says she saw the woman again and called police. She says she waited about 15 minutes, then 30 minutes, but no officers arrived.

News 12 reached out to the NYPD to ask why officers did not respond to Luna’s latest call and what steps were taken in the investigation into the alleged assault.

The NYPD had not responded as of Saturday night.
