An overturned truck and a liquid spill closed Route 22 West in Hillside on Monday afternoon.
The truck overturned near the Bloy Street overpass above the highway, spilling a liquid that could be seen running along the westbound lanes of Route 22 below.
First responders were at the scene Monday afternoon, and Route 22 West was closed leading up to the Bloy Street overpass.
It was not immediately clear what caused the truck to overturn or whether the driver was injured.
