An employee shuttle bus crash at Newark Liberty International Airport sent multiple people to the hospital early Monday morning.
Airport officials said the crash happened around 3 a.m. on the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway.
Emergency crews, including Port Authority police, responded to the scene.
Officials said multiple people suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The injured were transported to area hospitals for evaluation and treatment.
Video from the scene showed police tape surrounding the crash area as first responders worked nearby.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
The Level 3 roadway remains closed as crews clear debris from the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
