Showers and thunderstorms are the main story today, with periods of rain continuing through the early afternoon. Some storms could produce heavy rainfall, and rainfall totals of around three-quarters of an inch to an inch are possible in spots.
Conditions gradually improve later today, with skies turning partly sunny before clearing overnight. Monday brings a cooler, drier pattern with increasing sunshine and breezy conditions.
Tuesday stays sunny and cooler, with temperatures in the low 70s. Warmer weather returns Wednesday and Thursday, with plenty of sunshine and highs climbing back into the upper 70s to low 80s.
A few shower chances return Friday and Saturday, but neither day looks like a complete washout.
