High Technology High School is part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District and is located on the campus of Brookdale Community College. The four-year career academy offers a pre-engineering curriculum with an emphasis on mathematics, science and technology.
The school was not the only Monmouth County Vocational School District academy to rank highly. Biotechnology High School ranked No. 4 in New Jersey and No. 72 nationally, while the Marine Academy of Science and Technology ranked No. 11 in the state and No. 156 nationally. The Academy of Allied Health and Science ranked No. 19 in New Jersey and No. 348 nationally.
“This ranking reflects the challenge our students take on each day and the dedication of our staff to push them to meet it,” MCVSD Superintendent Sean Meehan said. “It is also a credit to the many excellent schools in Monmouth County who have prepared these students so well.”
