A herd of goats is helping Sea Girt remove invasive plants near Wreck Pond.
The borough is battling species including knotweed, honeysuckle and ivy on steep slopes near the pond.
Officials said it had become expensive to fight the invasive plants.
As a result, the borough brought in a herd of 15 grazing goats from New York.
The goats can be visited on the terrace between Fourth and Fifth avenues.
Visitors are asked not to feed or pet the animals.
