A tractor-trailer crash caused traffic delays on I-295 North in Lawrence Township early Monday morning.

Officials say the driver apparently lost control of the truck overnight, struck a guardrail and came to a stop near mile marker 66.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries, although authorities had not yet released an update.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Heavy rainfall moved through parts of the area overnight, but officials have not said whether weather played a role in the crash.
