Warm and refreshing start to the weekend; showers arrive tomorrow

It will be a refreshing start to the weekend today as temperatures top out in the low to mid-80s. Terrific outdoor weekend weather gets interrupted by increasing clouds on Sunday. It becomes more unsettled Sunday as clouds increase, and showers and thunderstorms become more likely later in the day.

Rain could become more widespread Sunday night, with showers lingering into Monday. There is the potential for some of the rain to be heavy, so be aware of the risk for flash flooding. Expect slow clearing on Monday with temperatures going back into the mid- and upper 80s.
