Domino’s is launching a new personal pizza that takes its name and its shape from the company’s iconic logo.

The Domino, a Detroit-style pizza designed for one person, will be available nationwide beginning Aug. 31. The rectangular pizza is shaped like a domino and cut into two slices.

The pizza is made with Parmesan-coated pan dough and two layers of cheese. Customers can choose a sauce and up to three toppings.

Domino’s says it developed the personal-size pizza in part for groups in which people want different toppings.

A two-topping Domino will be available through the chain’s Mix and Match Deal, which offers two or more eligible menu items for $6.99 each. Prices may be higher at some locations.
