Stamford police have released the name of the 4-year-old boy who died after falling from a 10th floor window of the Prospect Park apartments in Stamford last week.
Police identified the child as Mohammad Naziry and said no additional information about him will be released.
As previously reported by News 12, the boy was with one of his parents and another family member visiting his grandmother who lives on the 10th floor when he went through a screen on an open window and fell to the ground.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The boy's family is receiving grief support from the Stamford Police Behavioral Health Unit.
