A Wyckoff man charged with creating and distributing computer-generated child sexual abuse material has been ordered held pending trial, according to court records and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Brian C. Saracusa, 50, was arrested July 14 following a weekslong investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit. Prosecutors charged him with distribution of child sexual abuse material, possession of child sexual abuse material, creation of deceptive visual media and invasion of privacy.

Prosecutors say that investigators executed a search warrant at Saracusa's home and determined he used the internet to create and distribute a computer-generated video depicting child sexual abuse. Prosecutors also allege Saracusa photographed and recorded an adult on multiple occasions while the person was in various stages of undress without the individual's knowledge or consent.

Saracusa was initially remanded to the Bergen County Jail following his arrest. Court records show prosecutors filed a motion seeking his pretrial detention on July 14, and after a July 24 hearing, Superior Court Judge Marc D. Raimondo granted the motion, ordering him held pending trial.

The investigation involved members of the Bergen County Cyber Crimes Task Force, including the Wyckoff, Hasbrouck Heights, Norwood, Waldwick and Washington Township police departments, as well as the New York City Police Department.
