A man has pleaded guilty in a deadly drunk-driving crash that killed a woman and her young daughter in Lakewood.

Prosecutors say 43-year-old Raul Luna-Perez entered the plea this week in connection with the crash.

Authorities say Luna-Perez was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the collision.

Investigators say the crash happened about a year ago when he was speeding and crossed into oncoming traffic.

Officials say his vehicle struck another car head-on, killing a mother and her 11-year-old daughter.

Federal authorities say Luna-Perez had a prior criminal history before the crash.

He now faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in August.
