After crazy rain yesterday, we see a break this morning before isolated storms returns for parts of the state this afternoon and tonight as the air remains unsettled. High humidity and heat are the culprits. Localized flooding is possible with some of the downpours that form, but they will not be as severe as yesterday. An inch to an inch and a half is not out of the question for some storms today. It will also be quite hot with highs near 92 degrees and feel like temperatures near 95 in the direct sun.
Saturday looks fairly good but still feeling muggy and very warm. There could be a passing t-shower again for Saturday, but it's trending drier overall. Sunday looks great with a mostly sunny sky and a calm weather pattern. Humidity remains noticeable but a touch lower when compared to today's balmy feel.
A heat wave rolls in for next week, starting on Tuesday, but with lots of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 90s.
