The second week of July is really shifting into summer's high gear. Heat and humidity will once again be front and center on the weather marquee. It will not be the hottest we've had this year. It will not feel like the hottest it has been, but it will be plenty uncomfortable. It should last for five days, with Wednesday being the most scorching.

Mainly clear and comfortably warm tonight. Nighttime lows will be right where they should be for this time of year. Near 70 degrees. The humidity levels will be slightly elevated and slowly climbing, but it will not feel like a furnace - yet!
Tuesday we really start turning things up a few notches. Temperatures should rise very quickly through the day under mainly sunny skies. The record high for Tomorrow is 102 degrees, set back in 1954. We won't be that hot, but we will be 10 degrees warmer than normal, which is 87 degrees.
Tomorrow will be the start of our fourth heat wave of the summer. Last year we had three up to this point of the year. Peak heat is Wednesday, when the temperatures peak to 101 degrees and feels-like closer to 110! This heat wave should last through Saturday.
The weather should also remain storm-free - until the weekend. Right now, the forecast looks unsettled, but we will continue to watch how the pattern evolves.
