An 18-year-old Bridgeton woman has been charged in connection with a shooting that injured two women at a Millville bar, prosecutors said.

Andrea Martin was charged May 24 with two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and terroristic threats.

Cumberland County prosecutors say police were called to Bojo’s bar in Millville around 11:07 p.m. on May 23 for an altercation. Prosecutors allege the altercation began after an employee tried to obtain proof of identification to confirm Martin was of legal drinking age.

Two women, ages 25 and 48, were shot in the leg, according to prosecutors.

Martin was arrested on Wednesday.

Prosecutors said the state will seek pretrial detention.
