Woodbury City police are investigating an arrow attack that injured a man in Gloucester County Sunday.

According to a statement, police were initially called to Cooper Street around 6 a.m. for reports of a man who had been struck by an arrow in a wooded area.

When officers arrived, they found a 65-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries. The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

"Initial findings indicate that this incident possibly involved a targeted attack against the victim and that at this time, there is no known threat to the public," police said.

Woodbury City police say they are not releasing specific details as the investigation is ongoing. They are asking anyone who may have information about the May 10 incident to contact Detective Corporal Nicholas Cacciola at 856-845-0065, ext. 142.
