91-year-old Boonton man dies following crash on I-80
The Hyundai driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he died.

A 91-year-old Boonton man died after a multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Interstate 80 in Rockaway Township, state police said.
Troopers responded around 8:40 a.m. to I-80 west near milepost 34.4 in Morris County.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Chevrolet SUV, Hyundai SUV, Honda passenger vehicle and Kia passenger vehicle were traveling west. Police say the Chevrolet was reversing on the right shoulder of Exit 34B before entering the exit lanes and being struck by the Hyundai.
The Hyundai then crossed all lanes of travel and struck the rear of the Honda and the driver’s side of the Kia, police said.
The Hyundai driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he died. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The Kia driver sustained minor injuries and was also taken to a hospital. No other injuries were reported.
